The TRAILSKY TAA50 scores for the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) with 2 ITRA points. The TAA50 ultra marathon (TUNTE-ARTENARA-AGAETE) is a course that has everything a SkyRunner loves: hard, but not very long climbs; running trails, technical descents; a scenery that traverses forests, dams and that offers spectacular views at all times; bigger percentage of ascents than descents; and an ending at Puerto de las Nieves, Agaete, all of which will allow you to enjoy this race to its fullest in its 50 Km. tour around the island, and It will run through the highest point of the island, 1,956 metres above sea level.

More than an 84% of this route is made up of trails, the asphalt sections being found mainly in the start and finish of the race.

This route travels through the municipalities of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Vega de San Mateo, Tejeda, Guía, Artenara y Agaete. It begins in the beautiful and welcoming town of Tunte (San Bartolomé de Tirajana), makes an ascent through the route of Santiago to the Degollada de Cruz Grande, and reachs the route of LA PLATA, to the highest point of the island, at 1.956 metres above sea level. From here, a long and beautiful journey continues through the summits of the north and center of the island until the descent from Tamadaba to Puerto de Las Nieves, in Agaete, where its beach and natural pools will be waiting for you.

ROUTE: Tunte – Degollada Cruz Grande – Pico de Las Nieves – Pozo de Las Nieves – Llanos de la Pez – Cruz de Tejeda – Moriscos – Artenara – Tamadaba – Agaete – Puerto de Las Nieves.
