BEYOND THE COAST_SKY GRAN CANARIA ® is a mountain race that offers several modalities that adapt to the different profiles of each runner, who will be able to select their distance according to their abilities.
BEYOND THE COAST_SKY GRAN CANARIA ® crosses the island of Gran Canaria, finishing at Puerto de Las Nieves, in Agaete, passing through the highest point of the island of Gran Canaria, the Pico de las Nieves with its 1,954 meters of altitude. It crosses the largest dams on the island and passes through a large part of the villages of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Mogán, Artenara, Tejeda, Vega de San Mateo, Guía and Agaete, the host village of the event.
The event will be held on October 13, 14 and 15, and will host the World Cup FINALISSIMA of the international circuit of the World Mountain Running Association (WMRA). Also, the TRAILSKY TAA50 will host the Ultra Trail Canary Islands Championship of the Athletics Federation. Itwill be threedaysofthepurest trail running, withthe male and female WORLD TOP in eachofthe disciplines
All competition distances are open to popular runners (OPEN races). On Friday, October 13th will take place the VERTICAL SKY OPEN and VERTICAL WORLD CUP FINALISSIMA 4 Km.
On Saturday October 14 will be held the SKY TPT35 OPEN and LONG DISTANCE WOLRD CUP FINALISSIMA 35 Km.
And on Sunday October 15 the TRAILSKY TAA50 OPEN and ULTRA TRAIL CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE CANARY ISLANDS 50 Km. and the MINISKY AA21 OPEN and CLASSIC WOLRD CUP FINALISSIMA 21 Km.
BEYOND THE COAST_SKY TOUR GRAN CANARIA ® is a race suitable for all types of runners. The beautiful landscapes of the island of Gran Canaria will make you enjoy it to the maximum.
BEYOND THE COAST_SKY TOUR GRAN CANARIA ® is a member of the ITRA and the DUV. It is also a qualifying event for the UTMB (Utra-Trail du Mont Blanc).
